Went in search of Black Bream on Saturday with fishing mate, Peas, fished off the rocks on the west side towards Abersoch. Always enjoy this venue and have had some good results (including a really good breakfast at the cafe in the amusment arcade, within walking distance of the bait shop... does life get any better?)
Anyway first rod in, baiting up second and as everyone knows, great bite on first rod.... missed never mind, if things are going to be that good....... wrong not a great day for Eyup including forgetting bell on rod when casting to hear a tinga ling heading out to sea like a demented ice cream van!
Worse Peas gets two Black Bream an eel and a wrasse! (mind you worth it for my amusment watching a couple of holiday makers kids casting across Peas's lines)
unusually fishing dropped off totally at high tide with no bites for either of us for couple of hours Never mind a great days fishing and lots of "if only"ies.
