| West of Oxwichm, plugged for Bass. Had a dead quick session while camping at Nicholaston Farm (great site, not the cheapest but fantastic view and facilites). Caught one taker (Bass) on ABU Tormentor (Floating) but the tide was well in so we caught nothing else which is a shame as I handed the rod over to my brother (Hywel), I'd love for him to have caught one. We went to the west a bit on really rough ground round the bay quite a bit from Oxwich (through some caravan site that appeared to be VERY private (on the way out, funny that). Crab baited rods were in rig graveyard central and caught nowt. But, seriously, if you have nver been to the Gower and you love fishing GO!! __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk     |

How did Dan get on? i'll be off down oxwich tomorrow night i think after the hounds with mike...if we can get enough crab using bass rods!! it is a tackle grave yard...the hardest part of fishing the gullies is the ability and confidence to cast short...the fish are within 20-30yards and you get to see your tackle again!!!! __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size |
