| That time of year again Got to use up the last of last years holidays again. airtraffic control (the wife) has given me clearance so i'm off with the tent down to my favourite haunt of the gower - port eynon friday 22 till 1st June to play with the bass for a week. Can't wait...a whole week of nothing more than collecting crab and fishing....may find time for a shandy or two. will have to go some to beat last years tally of 26 bass between 2lb - 4 1/2lb but definatley on the cards going by the form its in at the moment. Mike....for gods sake go and catch a pout or something on your bass rod to break the new gear jinx will you...oh and i'll give you a bell about comming down on a hit and run mission. __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size |

| Re: That time of year again its very slow this year because of the very cold winter, but double figure smutts are now being caught and double figure bass on softback crab or peeler. mackies and garies are back out aswell. but no pollock yet, where are they? |
