| Penarth Pier Had a sunny afternoon last week and went tothe penarth pier with my brother and nephew was happy that you can buy frozen bait on the little shop on pier decent price to(check out the local pics). There was space on the bottom corner.Caught a small codling on my first cast on a sandeel, my nephew got a whiting and my bro two whiting a guy sporting many badges  caught a nice 9llb thornback ray off the top corner, made a right drama of it but was happy to see he carefully put it back . Was wondering if its worth a trip down to witches point for the rays?    |

| Re: Penarth Pier Monknash was pretty quiet with only pouting and a couple of doggies caught. I fished 2 hours either side of low water. On the bright side the sun was out most of the day when I was expecting rain. |
