| Gower 27th August Had the afternoon off so went wandering. looked great, had some lovely popping crab gullies were clear of weed.......tried some new fluoro carbon Korda IQ 20lb...what a pile of pants.....virtually every cast was comming back in with it showing mass iive abrasions!!! obviously wear from the rocks and the fish i did connect with didn't last long as it was parting not at the knots but along the hooklength. very frustrating session with probably 3 fish hooked but none landed...i hate leaving hooks in fish...especially mantra 4/0s. the flourocarbon is now in the bin and am back to the old faithful of seagar which i've never had a problem with...you live and learn may have to have another session down there this weekend again to recover from a BLANK john __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size     |
