| Flat Holm Monday. Went out on a spur of the moment trip on the Lady Helen for a couple of hours (always helps that Danny is my brother in law , or will be when he finally marries my sister).  Broad daylight and we happened to be there at high tide. Because it was a spur of the moment trip we had squid as bait. I had a couple , Swansea salmon and a huss. My brother who became thoroughly bored with fishing (having gone with me too often) had a nice huss and has decided that fishing may not be as rubbish as he had thought (have we won one back, if we have it's down to Dan).  My cousins were also with us , Rob caught conger (4 or 5) and won the weight and number comp easily, Jeff had a couple too as did Dan. Doggies and Huss were the mainstay with the odd conger thrown in. Got bitten off a few times to heavy fish, conger maybe?  Dan will probably have posted the piccys to the Lady Helen site so I won't post them here too. What a cracking end to a stag weekend  (we were in Newquay last weekend admiring the stunning scenery ).Thanks Dan and Mike (who thought the boat had been stolen for a minute).  Now to see if the groom is ready for another trip, I think he will be . Oh and no one threw up , but it was pretty calm at first. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk     |

| Re: Flat Holm Monday. Ah the Lewis family get together and it's smiles all round. Thanks for posting them Mike. Now as this is the first picture of me to appear on the forum and to avoid my brother or cousins getting upset, I'm the one with the American Chopper T-Shirt on. Highly appropriate as about 5 hours after this was taken I went to have the snip so maybe references to choppers was not such a good thing.
