Strong winds and plenty of fish in Sully Bay....

Business commitments kept me at home ,so Danny took to the Channel locking out into NE winds of 25 knots and heavy swells .Taking took shelter in Sully Bay . The inevitable doggies soon showed up,with thornies to 71/2 lb. a nice blonde of 13 1/2lb just before high water. The ebb continued to fish with more dogs, thornies to 10 1/2lb and 2 spotted rays of 3lb. A bonus of a starry hound came an hour down the tide and weighed in at 12lb. The weather became kind and the sea flattened off for the ebb. All in all a good day with a steady stream of fish coming aboard and 6 species boated

Double figure Starry Smoothound

13 1/2LB Blonde Ray

Spotted Rays

Thornback Rays to double figures

Looks like a great day out and by the looks of thing you did not have to wash the deck down afterwards
