Aberthaw

Locked out at 10 am and motored off to Aberthaw. Anchored off Stout pointwhere I could see Nash point just ahead.

In all I fished 3 spots and all I had to show for it was about 20-25 doggies. I had ragworm, squid, mackerel and soft crab in all manner of cocktails but the doggies kept coming.

Decided to give it up and head back to penarth. More doggies but finished up with 3 nice thornies to. This one was 8.5lb

and another of 7lb and one about 3lb. A lovely day out on the water but a really hard days fishing. Another boat by me was struggling too. Where are all the huss and rays everyone is supposed to be catching down there??

Locked back in at 7,15....lovely day out.

Re: Aberthaw

Shame about the sea rats Andy, but at least you got into the rays. Nice report mate.
