penarth 13/4 to sand point

Went out on a mates boat today.

on the way we stopped a global on penarth road..../man this was a santas grotto of frozen bait. boxes of squid £1.00!!! big boxes for £5.00.

bags of razor and boxes of soft crab which had about 30 crab the size of your fist for £10.00 - wouldn't use em off the shore but worked fine on the boat.

got the 11.00 lock out and shot over to clevedon with the small tides and anchored off sand point, straight into fish although a bit lumpy but had a steady run of rays upto 10lb and congers to about the same...no cod though which seems to be the story of my season on the boats this year.

Nice session there John. Can anyone go to Global Foods then or is it for the trade?

Re: penarth 13/4 to sand point

Any one can go there

they do have signs up saying minimum £25.00 but i think as long as you have cash they don't care.

when you go in turn immediatly left as far as you can go then right down the isle and the squid and crab are about a 1/3rd the way down on the left. only describing in such detail as there are so many freezers its unbelievable.

you will notice the £1 squid are the same boxes as in the tackle shops for £3 a chuck!!!
