gower 7/4

got a dozen crab from rogers and took a stroll around port eynon

lovely brisk day and good to refresh myself with the place on a big tide again to see exactly where the gullies are etc. Found some lovely looking places to fish which i'll be having a look at later in the season but unfortunatley todays session didn't come up with the goods

first cast had an enquirey which didn't materialise but raised the hopes in a strengthening wind.

fished 3 spots in total finishing by the salt house where i saved the blank with a schoolie of about 6oz, saw a couple of other guys at about 6.00ish who hadn't had anything so seems as if there not there yet in numbers.

Re: gower 7/4

the wind was absolutley howling and even had snow, rain, hail and sun......

will try again this weekend on the friday night high tide about 11.30-12.00ish so will probably fish chapel rocks in oxwich which is a nice platform at night.

managed to get about a dozen and a half edible peelers yesterday and will take some maddies for the second rod...will try for the bass and maybe and early smoothhound who knows.
