| Bank Holiday Mon. Wind and Codling Decided the wind was going to ease just enough to get in a few hours on Monday, launched out of the bay into a pleasently calm sea, wind keeping the waves down, headed off towards the foreshore and managed 2 bites, a tiddler then a 4lb 11oz codling, at slack water headed out to the north bouy to find it ncomfortable to say the least so as soon as the anchor slipped decided best head into some shelter as the wind was increasing, tried 2 marks off the rhanny bt total crap, not a bite between 5 rods and the wind getting stronger and stronger. headed back into some rough water, waves coming over the bow but nice and comfortable sat ot of the wind. apart from the wind it was a glorious day and even managed to catch some sun, look a bit like a panda today from the glasses.
