Re: no fishing for a while!!!!

cheerrs guys

another day on an feel a bit better...sore as hell mind and to anyone in the know, tramadol are ace!!!!!

managed to check out the bike for the first time today and thought it was looking good until i started to give it a clean and oh bugger...snapped the frame in two places !!and the bike i was on was a specialized stumpjumper which are a top bike for strength and lightness........makes me realise the impact that took place

feeling better mind and have positive thoughts for mondays appointment although more bruises are appearing by the hour.

cheers for the get wellls it is appreciated and just a thought that i don't want to dwell on and that makes fishing special....its only been 3 days that i've wanted to go fishing and have the time to do so but can't.....don't want this feeling too much.

john

especially on the remote marks i like..........

unfortunatley had an accident on the mountain bike a couple of days ago.
30mph top gear and hammering it on very slippery single track and lost it!!!!

monumental crash involving a gate post a farmers gate and a big ditch!!! sum damage in no particular order is a broken wrist, 2 cracked ribs, internal bleeding across my back, cuts and scratches to my leg and did i mention my foot....sharp peddles dug into it and ripped it open like a can of sardines full internal view of the bones tendons, fat etc...bad job and to sum it up they can't stitch it up yet until a consultant nerve doctor has looked at it next week to see if surgery is required...al that can be done in the mean time is to pack it and see if i get feeling back in my toes.......

thank my lucky stars i was wearing my helmet (which i don't do too often) otherwise i doubt i'd be here going by the damage to it.......and to think i got back on the bike and made it the last mile down the track until i managed to find someone while shock kicked in like a hangover after strongbow!!

keep up the reports guys i need to read about fishing now as i can't go!!!!

john
