| nice cod session 30/ 12/07 got down to the boat at 8am armed with usual baits ie frozen lug,squid,prawn ready for 8.30 lock.got in the lock with a load of other boats.great bit of banter with other guys,nobody really wanting to give away where they are heading to.got out of harbour to see a nice flat sea (great) hw 11am ish.fishing started a bit slow with only a couple of fish in first 2 hours 2 codling about 21/2lb .pretty much the same up untill the tide turned when the fish came back on the feed. between the three of us we had another 6 cod ranging from 3lb to 51/2lb all falling to the same bait of lug and squid coctails and method used 2 rods uptiding and 4 rods downtiding.got back for the 3.15 lock again with a large no of boats and the chat was the same about catch reports a couple of cod per boat with the odd ray showing. a good session once again looking forward to another now planned for 1/1/ 08 well thats all for now will post tomorrow night. happy new year to you all plugger  peter __________________ if at first you dont succeed buy a boat. peter     |

| Re: nice cod session 30/ 12/07 Peter I was out with kk we left on the 5am lock & fished fairly local but the main amarda went straight over to clevedon. some 50 plus boats must have past us with some a*se *oles passing within a couple of feet of us whilst we were at anchor. we dragged ourselves in around 6pm in the evening well knackered but throughly happy cos we got out fishin. best ray went 12lb best cod 3lb 12oz Chas.....     __________________ MIB Boat Angling Club |
