Been to lougher!!

Well went to lougher yesterday and what a strange day. We arrived about 12 o'clock a little bit early but it's nice to be out. We started fishing using a two hook flapper with rag tipped with mackerel, that was about it for the next two to three hours. We didn't have a bite, until we seen a few small fish rising to the surface about 10 meters out. So my mate kirk was like lightning setting up a small river rod with a small ball weight and a size 10 hook, loaded with a single ragworm. The jammy get had the first fish a bass about 5'' long, nothing much but it was a fish!
Still fishing for flounder and still not a bite. About an hour after high water there was a load of activity out in front of us, so i cast out with fresh bait and straight away caught a mackerel i couldn't believe it. So i cast out with feathers on and again mackerel.
A few casts later i felt something heavy on, it wasn't mackerel because i could feel it nodding. When it came to the surface i had foulded hooked the only flounder of the day on feathers ooopss!! That fish must of been the unluckiest flounder in the estuary.
So after all that madness we had 1 bass, 6 mackerel and 1 unlucky flounder to count for a days fishing.
HUW
