| Boat Report (Tuesday) Hi Guys been out off Burry Port all day. Heres my cut-down catch report coz Im real tired. We started drifting the reef just off Worms Head, it was really quite rough despite the coastguard stating sea state was slight! There was a huge swell rolling through and the wind was certainly more than a 7knot southerly!!! Anyway we only managed a mackerel on the live sandeel here so we moved toward the foul ground off the causeway.....here I got a pollack and a bass on live eel before we decided to move to another reef further offshore as slack tide approached. We got to the next mark to be greeted by a load of lobster pots so was a bit of a pain getting anchored over the mark. Caught a bullhuss and a dogfish on crab and then my gf caught a couple of small black bream on paternostered lugworm over low water. Sea state really picked up again over the flood so we moved further inshore where I picked up two starry smoothhounds on crab (biggest only about 3lb) and then a tub gurnard on live sandeel. So I caught a mackerel, bass, pollack, dogfish, bullhuss, starry smoothhound and tub gurnard today. Unfortunately I didnt target the bream over slack water but did have the little b+ggers attacking my 4/0 Viking loaded with crab - just couldnt seem to hook one somehow!
