No too sure John,always fish down from the capsite (cant remember the name,but it slopes down straight to shore,bit of ahairy climb too,plenty of 4 lb + fish in the gullies and some good sized Pollock too....have fished the other side of the headland inside the haven and had a stonking 51/2 lb Ballen ,i`m sure you find em with the kyack....

will give it a go soon i recon, also was thinking of fishing just off the refinery for the rays too but we'll suss that out when we get there. Think were going to a place called sandy lane which is right next to small offshoot which fills up with the tide going up a tree lined valley so should also be a bass or two around...although we wouldn't be fishing for them ....honest guv

rich you don't need too much fitness, only if you intend getting out into the flow of the tide, you can stay within bays etc with virtually no effect from the rips, we could have avoided the rip at oxwich by going around it but decided what the hell to give myself a bit of a work out.
