| Georgia Nicole 27/5/07 Well we must be dedicated or mad you decide ? Went out on the Georgia Nicole today expecting the winds to come latter part of the day it was not to be . A bit of a late start as the organiser (Kevin) did not get in till 4 o clock from a drinking session and was a full half hour late and would pay for that by ground baiting the channel with a fellow cider drinker latter in the day . So of we go down to abathaw in no time at all we were into the conger up to 12 ld double figure rays and huss . Even though it was a bit of a roller coaster out on the seas we all had a great day with lots of banter towards the drinkers who spent a couple of hours in the cabin regretting the night before . Baits used crab squid and machie come back in at 2 o clock drenched but with a smile on faces as the day was not a loss     |

Usually mix a numerous pints of lager and cider  ,a good greasy cooked brekkie and a choppy sea and you have the ideal ground bait mix... ,pretty sure you wont get the same effect on the rivers or lakes tho !!!!! |

Nice Boat the Nicole...Daves a great bloke  but his hot dogs aren't as nice as Mike's on Lady Helen Great to hear you had some fish...obviously the groundbait technique worked   |
