Just on my last couple of hours which is the culmination of 6 months work...well tomorrow by midday anyway...can't say i'm happy that its over but its been really hard work and has really eaten into my fishing time which is why my reports have been a bit slow recently.

anyway...work finished and i'm off work from friday until after the bank holiday tuesday (using the last of last years holidays).
Unfortunatley my wife can't take the time off so i'm going down the gower on my own with the tent, regardless of the weather. Taking the kayak and beach gear and plan on early mornings late evening fishing with bait collection inbetween, a shandy or two and maybe a bit of sleep too.

hopefully the summer species will have moved in making it a bit more consistent.

will let you know how i get on on my return and if old spikey is around!!
