Best way to fish shads

Looking at heading west for the first time this year, just come back from the states armed with a dozen packs of shads. What would you recommend the best way to fish them on the drift for the bass around oxwich area etc, lead sizes and so forth.

Re: Best way to fish shads

Paul let us know when your hoping to go and i'll show you.we had great success off poole in dorset with the bass also had quiet a few off nash area using them.
jelly worms seem better for pollack but shads also take a few.have you used braid?
also these clear lines invisable in water are are required for bass around 10lb in strenth.
for fishing over wrecks for pollack you need 30lb min.
