| penarth 14/4/07 havent posted for a while due to bad weather and some family stuff. finally got out on saturday , took the 8am lock out into the mist and quite choppy sea. fished out at cardiff mid, first baits out at 8.30, first bite brought a nice codling at 4lb,great start me thinks. but alas it was the only cod of any sizebut between the 3 of us we caught a shed ful of doggies, strap conger and a few very undersize codling.didnt have a bite after the tide turned but the sea condition went flat calm and bloody hot so we up anchored and headed in, nice to be out though.looking forward to the smoothounds now. plugger  __________________ if at first you dont succeed buy a boat. peter     |
