Sunday 08/04/07 MIBbac

The guys went out on a social event not comp this time,me I was stuck in the house cooking for ten (oh well you win some and you loose some).
They fished two boats Kobe & Benjoma too first port of call was barry just waiting for the tide to turn.
Alan Francis opened up with a blonde ray of about 14lb a number of conger were caught up to 20lb and those swansea bay trout put in a show.

The tide turned and they headed for the nash as ray was the targeted species.
Kobe fished the stout area and hit a number of thornies he also mentioned to mike birthday boy morgan that in the next month or two those swansea bay trout will start to make a nuisance of themseleves.
Mike then proceeded to catch 20 of bu**ers

The Benjoma headed for a mark on the nash which seemed to fall right into mike chadwicks hands first a blonde ray about 9lb then a 14lb starry smut, conger and the one that got away which was a huge spurdog that chomped the line just before they could get the net under it.
to be fair to him you don't expect to see these very often and 30lb tracy is just not man enough for these fish but apparently it made the starry look small.

Our next official trip is out of Swansea on the ray in may (19th)

charlie....

Fishing was generally slow although a nice day there was a sharp wind that increased throughout the day and became quiet choppy by the end of it.
