| Good Friday Catch Report We were joined by "Lazyhooker" for the day, locked out at 8:00am and decided to head to Sully, anchored up in the bay for a couple of hours while waiting for the tide to turn, not much happened a couple of Dogs for Pete and LH, decided to try just off the back of the island, managed a codling, a few eels, and doggies between us. Headed back up towards Penarth to try the banks and pretty quiet there too didn't manage to hook into anything decent myself a small codling I didn't know was there, but Pete had a Ray 6lb 12ozs along with a few more Dogs and LH with a couple of Dogs and a few missed bites. Moved close into the foreshore to finish off where the fish decided they were going to start feeding, Pete had a Codling, and a few small eels, I managed to drop my only bite, and again the Doggie for LH. All in all a cracking day to be out on the water, not a breath of wind and a bit of banter flying around. Good to meet you LH, hope you enjoyed the day and you are more than welcome to join us again. | Re: Good Friday Catch Report twas a good day out. first time for me on a small fishing boat and really enjoyed it especially as the weather was so good and the sea was so calm which gave the experience of moving at mak 10!!! really surprised me how spritely those warriors are. Thanks again paul for a wicked day out...thought i'd do the done thing and let the both of you out fish me on the first outing ....next one watch out, you won't have time to do any fishing of your own you'll be too busy netting my fish!!! john __________________ Catch and Release fishing is a lot like a game of golf.
