| Friday Night off the Rhanny Took the boat out last night for 3 hours, easterly wind was a pain in the arse and the big swells made fishing difficult to say the least. Fished just off the rhanny 1 codling 2lbish and a suprise bass of 3lb. not a bad three hours considering.      |

| Re: Friday Night off the Rhanny Im not srprised you catching the bass,the elvers are in the bass will be feeding on them up the tidal stretches of the rumney and ebbw rivers. try fishing on the mouth of the rumney at night if possible . I,ll be out sunday for the first time this year with the fly rod after them, tide is right and high water is about 11.30 pm ive been told. good fishing flyman |
