| last night off Cardiff Locked out at 17:30 , first rod in the water by 18:00 nice conditions. Managed 1 ray 6 1/2lb, 2 codling 3lb + 4 1/2lb and a few smaller fish, mate managed an eel about 4lb, + a few smallish codling. locked back in at 10:30 so all in all a good night. KK     |

| Re: last night off Cardiff some nice fish there kk, not normally a boat fisherman myself but went out twice last month from penarth on a boat (benjoma too) looking for cod only to catch thornies and not one codling. tried uptiding with a 3 ft running ledger and fresh blacks and squid for bait. are these rigs and bait the norm from here? |
