power rangers day out

went down to knab rock at mumbles saturday morning (24th jan) with my mate Johnboy to go out on the kayaks.
got their about 8.30 and got kitted up...suddenly dawned on me that by the time you have dry trousers, cag tops, pfd (personel floatation device), aquapacs hanging of you that we looked like a pair of power rangers, just without the flare of andjades avatar.

anyway spent an hour trolling up to and around the lifeboat launch part of the pier but no luck... wind was really strong making paddling a bit of a chore so we anchored up 2-300 yards off off the rnli slip way. small hooks and pieces of black lug sent off to find some dabs but again the fish weren't playing ball. Instead of dabs we had a steady run of whiting each getting about half a dozen with JB getting the best which was about 16 inches.

good fun non the less and managed to take some photos this time which i'll load up tomorrow as i can't find the cable and i know theres one in work

john

ps how do upload pictures off my pc, when i click insert image it comes up with a box for me to put the URL location which i haven't got (they will be in my own folders)

Thumbs up Re: power rangers day out

Sounds like you had a fun day LH. Not fished Mumbles since 1977. I do recall getting some nice bass & a very large Garfish on a spinner though. Not sure i'd want to Kayak in the tide race there.

Re: power rangers day out

Nice one mate, bet it was a good work out in the tide, and nice to catch a few fish too.

Re: power rangers day out

Well done LH......sounds a great day out.....easiest way to download pics is through Photo bucket.....you can copy and paste the 'url' from there straight into your post, the pics then will come straight up.
