Day of the Golden Ladybird

Visited Yew Tree (Sussex) today with the Guild for our annual Charity Day and had Tea and biscuits to begin with , started fishing at 9.00 with a walkoff from the draw to find your positions ,I drew No6 so all the "good" spots had gone when I started so moved to the Dam which meant I was casting into the gentle breeze that was blowing.
Tried several Nymphs on the floating line but no luck , there were fish showing on top but they were to far out for me to reach them, looking for inspiration in the fly box when a Humungus fell out so I put it on and had 2 fish in the next 30 minutes, decided to change to the intermidiate line as the fish had gone deeper and had 1 on a Zonker, so as it was only a 4 fish ticket I had a stroll around the lakes to see if anything was moving on top.
By the time I got back to the lodge it was lunch time (beef stew and jacket spuds)

Whilst we were having lunch a number of these appeared , have never seen a Golden Ladybird before, I wonder what species it is?

Managed to get the last fish on the second cast after lunch , nothing big but its not a big fish water ,I managed 4th out of 10 and there were only 3ozs between the top 4 places

A good day in pleasant surroundings with good friends and grub so any fish were a bonus.
