Club day at Duncton.With not enough takers to have the fishery to ourselves we had to share with day ticketer's and members which made it rather busy.After a frosty start it was quite warm with unbroken sun all day which made it tough going .
All caught,mostly two's and three's with a few four fish limits taken.I managed two,was broken after a fierce take on the drop and had lots of tap taps fishing slow and very deep,as much as 12 feet plus(as most did) but failed to convert them into hook ups.One guy had a small tiger and best fish was around the 5lb mark.
Anyone looking to add a new species/variety of trout(tigers) could try here.They are stocking them into all the lakes,BUT not in great numbers,along with some big browns and rainbows.
