| Fishing LAAARGE waters Hello everyone! I want to fish larger waters but I have a quick question that I can't seem to find the answer for online: How do you locate the fish on large waters? I understand that you've gotta try different depths up and down the water column, but how do you go about identifying likely areas on a lake? The only two things I can think of are that food will be blown downwind, therefore fish into the wind, and also that on sunny days the fish would probably go to deeper areas of the lake. What else? Thanks guys! |

| Re: Fishing LAAARGE waters If it's a large water any obstacles in the water? These can hold fish. Any water inlet or outlet areas. Nothing will beat a good walk around tho and look for signs of fish jumping. A note book will also help write down weather conditions and times of fish activity. Over a period of time you will see a pattern to the lake. tj |

| Re: Fishing LAAARGE waters You could also ask the owner/manager what areas are fishing well, 9 times out of 10 he`ll know. |

He or she will fill you in honestly, may even meet you there ??? A lot of phone calls but will save you hours of frusration. Good luck |
