I have never fished there but have been told its a small square pond which is why my mates call it the swimming pool.

Re: Perfect Buzzer conditions

Hi zonnkers! Fly-fishing rookie here. What's a sangster? I tried a few google searches but couldn't find a solid answer. I presume it's a floating fly with foam or something? Also, how far from the sangster was the buzzer, and in what way did you attach it?

Thanks for your help!

Dave

The Sangster is a Dry/emerger pattern that sits in the surface of the water rather than on top.
Its tied with Deer Hair so will float , I haven't got a photo of it on Photobucket but will download 1 over the weekend and then post it.

I fish it in the dropper about 4ft above the Buzzer on the point.
