| Trout fishing in Kent Hi guys, i want to try fishing for trout and my father-in-law wants to come and try to. Is there anywhere in Kent/Southeast that will rent out some rods and let us pay a day licence to fish? I have only got sea gear and don`t wanna go out and buy a load of gear i wont use that often. Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated Joe __________________ Sea 2012- 5brd rockling, whiting, LS Dogfish,Bass,Eel,Flounder F/W 2012- Catfish(16.5lb), Carp,Tench LITTER IS JUST LAZINESS!! |

| Re: Trout fishing in Kent Hi Brick Farm down near Battle is a busy but prolific spot.Novices can fish on a ticket with an experienced partner and share a limit catch-three fish each at £38,ie £19 each. Not sure about rod hire though. This place is in Surrey, they do an hours tuition and all tackle for the day,4 fish £38,obviously need to book and NOT the place to go in high summer as it gets hard. http://www.coltsfordmill-fishery.co.uk/index.html If a meet were on the cards i might be interested subject to date, have enough gear to kit out two, perhaps three people. Chalk Springs in Sussex also allows rod share for a novice and experienced partner, four fish £39,would need to be booked however. http://www.chalksprings.com/ A day rod licence is available online if required. Bewl do a ticket with some tuition as well. |
