Re: Winter Months

If you`re talking about the River Almond, there are indeed parts you can fish free. There are a few angling clubs with stretches on the river, so you would have to make sure you don`t fish on their water.Google "the river almond (I take it that`s where you`re thinking of fishing) and you should find the info. you need.

Smile Re: Winter Months

Hi Connor, remember that you`ll be fishing during the traditional close season for trout and the fish will almost certainly be out of condition due to spawning. Care should be taken when returning fish to the river ie., making sure the fish has fully recovered on release, which I`m sure you`ll do.
