| Winter Months Sorry guys ino its a stupid question .I should know the answer but that why im on here . Since the fishing season is now over(basically), There is a river next to me were you can fish for free on some parts or so I have heard,Would i be able to fish there through the winter and if so what new tactics would i need to use sorry again guys but im still learning ;) |

| Re: Winter Months If you`re talking about the River Almond, there are indeed parts you can fish free. There are a few angling clubs with stretches on the river, so you would have to make sure you don`t fish on their water.Google "the river almond (I take it that`s where you`re thinking of fishing) and you should find the info. you need. | Re: Winter Months Yes i was talking abut the River Almond , After following your advice and looking on the website I did see you can fish for free(thanks) but i am not sure where to find the stretches of water that the clubs own is there a map for this and if so could you please tell me where i could possibly find it thanks again |

| Hi Connor, remember that you`ll be fishing during the traditional close season for trout and the fish will almost certainly be out of condition due to spawning. Care should be taken when returning fish to the river ie., making sure the fish has fully recovered on release, which I`m sure you`ll do. Peter |
