Pair of crackers there Jeff, lovely markings too. Did you take them on dries? I used a ginked up Red and Black Bumble on Friday night (my new secret weapon ), put me well in front for the Magners. Well done though, what weight were they?Peter ![]()

Re: a couple more today Thanks guys, The first 1 was caught on a brown F Fly and the other 1 on a size 14 gold head hares ear nymph, As for size i think the first just over a pound and pound and quarter for the biggest. This year has been my best season on the river really enjoyed it and already looking forward to next year. Fishing Blagdon saturday the 25th with guys from my local fly tying club so got to get busy tying flies for that. THE season here finishes on the 30th of september for browns is it the same for u Pete? Jeff ![]()

Nice fish Jeff, have a good one on Saturday. Our season finishes on the 7th Oct. for browns, and the 31st Oct. for seatrout and salmon. There was an extraordinary amount of small browns this season, which I suppose is great for the future of the river and the reason I switched to lighter tackle and debarbed hooks. Peter ![]()
