A few from pen-y-fan trout lake

Went up my club water last night to catch a few on the dries,started fishing about 7pm my set up was 6wf 10ft rod with 3 buzzers on a 18 ft leader.
first 15mins nothing happend then cast out after couple of secounds a nice rainbow took the black buzzer on the drop , it gave a good battle but i quickly
got it inand let it go. another 1 came quickly to the black buzzer which again was released.
Then Dubbed squirrel must have been doing the rain dance because it pi--ed
down for about 15mins, this is when the action started fish started to rise every where.
Aquick change of flies i put a couple of shipsmens on claret and a olive 1
caught another 13 rainbows and 1 small brown all coming to the claret shipmens.

Icaught most of the fish out from the red beds on the left of this picture,

finnished around 10pm keeping 2 rainbows for the barbcue this weekend

I must have had my shoes on the wrong feet , when it`s rained down there and not up here . Nice report and photos Jeff. I`ll leave off the rain dance until after your barbie, just in case.

Been up there again tonight,
the fish came on about 8.30pm two claret shipmans on the leader.
Slow pulls making a wake with the flys the fish were going crazy for them
bow waving behind the flys and smashing into them.
Finished well into double figures another great night.
