| Friday night session. Out for the Fri.afternoon/night session, although the water level has dropped dramatically in the last few weeks. It didn`t seem that long ago, since we had snowmelt pouring into the river, from one extreme to another . Still it wasn`t too bad, at least we took a few each on dries (some of our usual stretches the water was too low for wets), size 16 bivisibles doing most of the damage.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The river looks great ,but would definitely benefit from a couple of days rain. Peter. |

Hi Jeff, I think he might just be shading it for the Magners. Had to stop for a while as my fingers and wrist got quite painful late on, but can`t complain, it`s a lot better than it was. Some of the stretches we normally fish, have less than a foot of water, but we`re forecast for heavy rain some time this week. Going sea fishing next Friday, if we don`t get enough rain to raise the levels, we still have a lot of parr and smolt in the system, that fling themselves at anything that moves. Peter. |
