loch fad

got up at 5am to go get a ferry to isle of bute to go fish loch fad for trout on the fly got there about half six got the rod set up up and on the boat went with my dad and his mate that has been a few times so we went to the place that fished the best the day before and my dads friend had 4 in the space of an hour then my my dad had his only trout of the session my dads mate then caught another 5 throught out the day the bay went quite so we moved up to another bay and my dads mate had another two fish but this time they were a perch and a pike so the last half hour we decide to go back to where we decided to start and i had a fish on but it came off so we need to pack up to back too get the taxi and ferry and we decided to have one last cast and i had a fish on this time landed it so we had 22lb between us they were ranging from 1 and a half lbs to 2lbs 8oz the pike was probably 1lb-2lb the perch 6oz. so lets hope we have as good a day when me and my dad go back on the 24th.
