1st brown of 2010

Fished the Syrhowy river today for acouple of hours.
The river was low and clear with a cold up stream wind.
Fished upstream with a couple of gold head nymphs watching my fly
line tip for any takes.
first 2 pools nothing then found a nice little eddy flung my nymphs in
seen a little movement on my line i was into my first brown a nice fish
getting close to 1lb.

Q uick photo and back into the water i cast into the same place,
same again only this time the fish won and got away.
Carried on upstream with no luck.

Turned around after an hour fished back down towards my car.

managed to catch another 2 fish,

it was great being back out on the river.

Flyman
