| First fish of 2010 Despite weather conditions I decided to cast a fly at my club water. I arrived about dinner time, to find that the entire water was covered in mist. It was a little creepy lol. I set up just one rod to start with Shakespeare 9.6" 7/8# with an intermediate line 10' tippet and a various selection of lures. Over about 2 hours I tried 9 or 10 different patterns at different depths and retrieves with no luck. I could not understand what was going on, not a nibble? So I set another rod up with a floating line 15' tippet Black buzzer on the drop and a green buzzer on the tip/ still not a dickey bird? The fish were not giving me any idea of what they was up to, I had seen only couple of signs of life in about 2 or so hours? I had about 1 hour of light left, I ditched the buzzers and put a Beatle on the dropper and an olive grub that I tied myself on the point. Casted out, retrieved with a slow figure of eight BAM! I was in to this.      |

| Re: First fish of 2010 Well was supose to be a picture in that Thread but i can't get it to work. put the pics in photobucket tried to copy and paste did not let me so all i was left with was copy a short cut? does not work either? |

| Re: First fish of 2010 Hi, Did you copy the IMG code from photobucket, its about 4th down? Then click insert image, and copy to that. |

| Re: First fish of 2010 On the posting page, you should have a little icon called insert Image (picture of mountains and sun). When I press this my computer ask if tis is safe at the top of the page, I then click the question and it asks if i want to allow this temporarily. I click temporarily allow, then I have to click the Insert Image icon again. This opens a box in the top left, called Explorer User Promt. Paste Image code in there! Any help? |
