Poppers

It's getting a bit quiet where i am fishing, I am looking for some new ideas to use. Will poppers work this time of year or is it a waste of time. Useual methods don't seem to be working well since the change in the weather.
Any advice would be aprecieated.

Is it for rainbows gazjb, i had 42 yesterday easy peasy. If so instead off me writing it all again, i have answered sim in huge detail mate in asked questions today and yesterday Tight lines. Stud. My wife sisters daughter lost a child today 4 months old not even born so a bit drained.

I love poppers but when ive been useing them this time of year ive had nout not even a look!
But i find they work well in spring and summer
So i would just say that you shold stick it out with buzzers and bright lures
