| brown trout Been down the Ebbw river a couple of hours today  Quite a few fish rising in this pool rose about 10 fish managed to hook 1. changed and put anymph hanging below the dry new zealand style caught afew straight away.   moved on to this pool .  caught this 1 on the dry fly,      |

there is only a couple of places left to join Islwyn anglers, to join call at Green,s fishing tackle shop in pontllanfraith phone number is 01495 221881. FRom crosskeys down to basseleg weir is fly only above crosskeys you can worm as well. we also have 2 lakes which is fly only panterios in risca and pen-y-fan pond in oakdale. It s agreat club good bunch of boy,s . Might see u down the river 1 day . |
