woodington fishery, wellow, hampshire

me and dan(fisherdan) head to wellow agian and found that the name of the place was not headlands , but actualy woodington fishery. headlands was just down the road.
anyway it was a tough days fishing(bloody easterly winds) we started on shere water(cloudy lake) and dan had a rainbow trout pritty much straight away, then we moved on to the kingfsherlake, a clear lake which just did not want to play ball and after couple of hours trying we moved back on to the cloudy lake (shere water), dan again baged another trout. nexted i had a cocky 10 minutes where i had 3 trout in 3 casts, all fell to a dawsons olive. after another couple of hours . we moved down on to 1 of the coarse lakes to try for a pike , but it was not to be i had 1 follow but no takes and that was that.
so back we head to the trout and tryed the leat, which is a small very cloudy lake with bigger fish in there. the was loads of activity on the surface ,but again thay just did not want to play ball, ti was like thay were jumping out the water to say "go and f*** your self" which was very annoying, come 4 pm we both had enough and head home with a 5 fish telly between us
still a cracking day to be out there chucking fluff,

hears a web link to the fishery, which i would recommend to any one, the guy who owns it (john) is a good fella and not out to try and rip you off, he realy wants you to catch
