| Re: solent report BEN when the next set of spring tides comes along you should give hill head a try for smoothies off the beach,use heavy gear and hermits if you can get them if not i find squid works well there which i add a little bit of bait elastic too as on good day you can catch a few and youll love the sport on a beachcaster. I think some record for smoothies was broke there although im not posotive maybe the southern shore record or something like that . I think it was around 15lb ish. Good luck |

| Re: solent report I would be using a one hook cliped down rig mate if your going for them smothies! and for the bait i would use peeler crab about half on a hook hit out as far as i could! i think its spose to blow this week aint it? so i think i may give them a go next weekend if all goes well and i have enougth bait to fish plesure aswell as a match! Keep us posted on how you do wont ya cause its always nice to here how the fishing is going within my traveling distance! as for myself i cant wait till they start geting them in big numbers along that way from the beach cause its a great sport and a good night fishing! |
