Posting photos from Photobucket after change.

Photobucket have changed their format again, although it`s a bit easier now. I thought there was something wrong with my account, and that the post downloader was fceukd. Here`s how I get it to work now.

Make sure you have your two windows open (your photobucket page and post page)

As normal, on Photbucket, click on the img in the drop down box, it will now say copied, click on it again, then
drag cursor to post, click on page of post, then right click, select paste and your img code should appear.

Glad it helped Lee. It`s easier than the old system, I eventually got it after logging on to a photography forum. I thought my account on Photobucket had developed a fault, nothing seemed to work. Photobucket would rather you went pro, so I don`t think they didn`t explain the changes in depth.

Even easier - Create an album, then link from there. You don't need Photobucket.

Once your album is created just copy and paste the BB code shown below your photo

Hi EP, that`s a good idea, but I don`t think you can export them to other forums from there can you? I have amassed hundreds of pics on Photobucket over the years, so I need the storage space.

can't say i noticed anything different ! upload pic , copy link , add to post ... or have i missed something ?

Something strange here, Steve, when you click the IMG box does it still turn blue (it certainly turned the air blue) or does it say *copied*? On pages I googled for a solution (most of which wanted you to download their fix-it tool), it seems Photobucket had upgraded their system. I eventually got the answer to downloading on a photography forum. It will be interesting to know how you get on.

I hover over pic i uploaded and the drop down box appears .. i then click on link and it says copied ..
used it as recently as 2 secs ago
