Fly tying patterns I have treated myself to a fly tying kit, couple of books and a pretty good selection of materials, so i could tie my own stuff. I have made up a few different, well i call them lures not sreamers? is there a difference?. Anyway i have tied up a few :- Zonkers, Baby dolls, Yellow dancers, Green beasts, Hot heads and some Appitiesers. Does anyone know of a site where i could find some more patterns that i could try. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Re: Fly tying patterns Hi GAZJB, www.flyforums.co.uk has a great step by step fly tying section on there. Ontop of the s.b.s section there is a list of all the fly,s . My advice is to have a look at the fly,s but try to add something different . Ive got to start tying some lures for early season soon ,will post some pictures when ive finished. Flyman

Re: Fly tying patterns Try the Glo Bug hopper, It’s not your usual pattern. The unconventional use of the glow yarn for the torso is what gives the Glow Bug Hopper such a realistic look. Not only does this fly look great, it also catches fish, the pattern will work for trout in the late summer where streams pass through grassy areas, or for the beginner this fly is deadly for Sunfish.
