Re: Fly reel problem

just found out all you have to do is change the bearing around.Take off spool look at the back opposite handle lift out the shouldered plastic bit with the bearing in with a small screwdriver or knife, once out of housing, push the bearing out, you can push it back easily with your fingers job done, don't forget to turn the bearing around before you push it back.

I know they are an inexpensive reel but I've been happy with mine, I found the drag smooth and useful in landing a 10lb carp last year.
Most reels with drags have a one way bearing inside. You need to remove the spool and you will see a C clip holding the bearing in place. Remove it turn the bearing over and you have changed from Left to right or right to left replace C clip then rewind line onto spool so it come off the bottom of the reel.
Legend fishing have a Pfleuger 5wt reel with just a clicker system which you can turn off completely so it is useable either way. They were selling it at £7.99 including post which must be a bargain. Dont have their details but you should be able to google them

A reel is only to keep your line on, I'm a left hander too, I've never found it a problem to wide line in on the top, just enjoy the fishing.
