Casting Help ???

Hi everyone.

My dad took me fishing last week and kept moaning at me because i was good at casting, i kept hitting behind me and not casting very far.
Can anyone help me get a further cast?

Don't put too much emphasis on the distance of your cast, it's far more important IMO to make sure you concentrate on a delicate presentation. The best way to improve your casting is to find a qualified instructor near you, reading these things in a book or online doesn't really help make it any easier but its more to do with timing than power. Don't forget that practice makes perfect so get out in a field or anywhere with enough space using an old fly with the hook snipped off and keep trying.

Well shady ive only seen u flyfish once so
U were on a canal with a width of 4 metres
and you didnt need a far cast for that far

but if you need an instructor try owens dad he taugt me for a month
and im not worried about my casts that much he wont charge you either
well at least he didnt charge me
