| Re: Fly Fishing for Roach? yeah i had loads of fun last summer, because my local pond can get HECTIC as my dad said, i waited till just before dusk, casters shot out to get them to the surface, then a small fly say a 16-18 black gnat, greenwells glory, black beetle or black spider work well also CDCs work quite well...floating line try not to cast through...let your tippet land on the shoal because unless they are in a frenzy theyll scatter and GOOD LUCK...i think i had cat like reflexes by the end of that summer...trained my eyes for when i went for the trout on the bigger waters as well. ![]() __________________ "Alright Jack, we all ready to fish?"
