preferred tench rig????

well, touch wood i'll be making a trip up to cheddar res this weekend after some early tench. whats everyone's preferred rig set up?

Simple ' lift float ' set up for me . Sliding float ledger if the water is over a rod length deep .

Yeah I thought it would be a standard maggot feeder rig. I've got a maggot feeder but it's very heavy, obviously for water with a strong flow. What weight feeder do you recommend for still water?

that all depends on what distance and what tc of rod your using

I've got a very strong carp rod (3.5lb breaking strain) and a match rod.

carp rod is well too powerful for tench , 1.3/4 max you want something that moves at the tip
