Best Condition Tench I Ever Caught

Hi me again, went to a new lake in east sussex on wednesday and caught a few tench on sonus 11mm pellets. THey run to about eight pound says the leaflet. Well i managed a few of the smaller ones but each one was in brilliant condition (see photo) Will be going back for sure!

I love Tench fishing. The quarry where I fish, has the best looking Tench I have ever seen. They are a little light in colour but I put that down to the water being very muddy. Nice fish by the way!

this weighed 3lb 5oz i just love the dark olive green colouration. Plenty of growing still to do for this fish to do. By the size of its tail i am sure it will reach twice its weight eventually. Nice to go to a new venue and catch fish in good condition.
