Re: tench on boilies!!!!!!!

Pineapple boilies are a great bait for Carp, I used to use Pineapple a lot in the 80s and caught a few low 20s on them at Darenth and Savay so don't be surprised if you get Carp.
Best of luck on your Tenching though, hope you catch a few.

Re: tench on boilies!!!!!!!

I use pellets rather than boilies. Sweetcorn and, also bloodworm flavours work best for me. Sizes 6mm - 12mm.

Re: tench on boilies!!!!!!!

I've had penty of tench on boilies, I would suggest that you go for the smaller sizes, but you will get carp so be pre-pared for a tussle.
I used richworth Crab and Mussel when I fished the Medway in Kent, had plenty of tench whilst waiting/trying to find the carp. Its one that river that I developed my dislke for bream.

Re: tench on boilies!!!!!!!

Just cut your boilies down with some scissors and it should be fine to catch Tench. I usually add yellow sweetcorn to my mix if i'm using a yellow pop-up.

Re: tench on boilies!!!!!!!

as a lad i used to have loads of tench on pineapple in a cat food paste so it will work with boilies just depends on how hard the water is fished and if its heavy then a big fat lobworm fished over hemp will do it
