Re: More Tench anglers please!!!!!

We're here, just we often get smothered by the carp scene. I love the tinca, those shades of green, orange red eyes, and 'tench fishing' is so muchj more stylish than carp, quills lifting then sling away into the green depths, oh I can't wait for summer.
I don't mind when cypry comes along either tho.

A lot of us on the forum are all round anglers mate. If you check through the freshwater reports, theres a fair few mentions of tench being caught though....

Re: More Tench anglers please!!!!!

I am a big fan of tench, but sadly as they live in the same waters as carp, tackle is often stepped up to deal with old cypry. This does take away some of the magic of tench fishing, which should be done in the traditional way, floast, lift method. NO Bite alarms.
